Technical Director | Engineering Consultancy

Salary: circa $215,000 - $250,000 + bonus + shares

This is a senior technical leadership role for someone who knows how to take complex mechanical design from concept to handover. You'll be managing people, clients, deadlines, and P&L. What’s in your hands:

• Lead mechanical engineering teams across major projects
• Own technical delivery for mechanical and electrical systems across sectors
• Drive design excellence on large-scale data centre developments
• Mentor, train, and build a high-performing design team
• Work directly with key clients and help win profitable work
• Own commercial reporting, profitability, and invoicing across your portfolio
• Stay hands-on with design reviews, new tools, and evolving tech
• Represent the business in front of clients, contractors, and consultants
• Help shape business direction as part of the senior leadership team

• BEng or equivalent in Mechanical engineering
• Chartered Engineer (or on the way)
• 15+ years leading engineering design and project teams
• Significant experience delivering data centre design projects
• Strong grasp of MEP design across multiple building types
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, NES, Cymap, and MS Office
• Clear, confident communicator who’s comfortable in the boardroom and on-site
• Previous international project experience is a bonus
