We are seeking an experienced Services Engineer to deliver major, technically complex data centre projects across Melbourne.
This is an opportunity to work alongside an experienced project team on high value projects where quality, safety and technical excellence are critical.
As a Services Engineer, you will play a key role in coordinating and delivering the building services package throughout the project lifecycle. You will work closely with the Project Manager, Site Team, consultants, subcontractors and client to ensure services are coordinated and compliant.
Salary range (dependent on experience) : $130k - $190k + super
Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and fire services packages.
- Reviewing design documentation and specifications.
- Managing services coordination and resolving technical issues on site.
- Working closely with subcontractors, consultants and the broader project team.
- Monitoring installation quality, programme and progress.
- Assisting with procurement, variations, RFIs and technical documentation.
- Supporting commissioning, testing and handover activities.
- Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with project requirements, Australian Standards and relevant codes.
- Identifying and resolving construction and coordination issues before they impact programme or quality.
- Maintaining strong relationships with project stakeholders.
- Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical (or Trade qualified)
- Experience delivering technically complex projects.
- Strong understanding of building services coordination.
- Full working rights in Australia.
