Senior Manager, Data Centre Technology
Location: Melbourne
Salary: $190k - $210k + super + bonus
Overview
MCR are seeking an experienced infrastructure leader to work for a global leading hyperscale data centre provider.
In this newly created role, you'll be taking charge of a small team who are deployed over a large data centre campus, and you'll be tasked with setting strategic roadmaps for implementation and optimization of their mission critical technology infrastructure; ensuring that all business continuity and DR policies are robust.
This is a hands-on role, so you'll need to enjoy remaining close to the action from a technical standpoint, whilst offering a bridge between executive leadership and technology teams.
Key Requirements
- Strong understanding of complex, mission critical environments with strict 24X7 uptime requirements
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure suite of products
- Strong knowledge of VMware, Active Directory, Storage technologies, Firewalls
- CCNA/CCIE certifications highly regarded
- Project Management experience essential
- Strong people leader with ability to communicate clearly and effectively to senior management
- Experience with BMS systems, CCTV networks - highly regarded
- This is a site based role, so willingness and ability to be on site 5 days a week (site is west of Melbourne's CBD)
- Australian Citizenship is essential as you will be required to achieve NV1 Level Security Clearance
