A leading data centre operator is seeking a Senior Critical Facilities Manager
to oversee the operations of multi-site mission-critical facilities in Sydney.
This senior-level opportunity places you at the centre of operational excellence, innovation, and strategic leadership. You’ll guide a high-performing engineering team while driving safety, service reliability, budget control, and long-term asset performance across the campus.
Role responsibilities
- Lead a team of supervisors and a wider workforce of engineers operating 24/7 across the campus
- Take responsibility for end-to-end facilities operations across the site, ensuring consistent delivery against SLAs, KPIs, and customer expectations.
- Oversee vendor performance, contract management, and compliance for projects and ongoing maintenance.
- Own operational budgets (CAPEX/OPEX)
- Develop proposals for infrastructure upgrades and capital improvements aligned with business needs
- 8+ years in highly critical 24/7 facilities or data centres
- Background in MEP engineering or equivalent experience in technical infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of critical infrastructure systems (electrical/mechanical/bms) and the ability to lead technical teams.
- Experience managing high-value budgets
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
