You’ll be involved across the full project lifecycle from concept and design through construction, commissioning and operational readiness working alongside consultants, contractors, vendors and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead and develop electrical engineering designs from concept through to commissioning.
- Develop and review single-line diagrams, load schedules, equipment specifications and electrical calculations.
- Work across HV/MV/LV distribution, transformers, switchgear, UPS, generators, busway/busduct and associated systems.
- Review consultant designs, calculations, specifications and technical submissions.
- Review contractor shop drawings, equipment selections and installation proposals.
- Support electrical equipment selection and technical procurement.
- Carry out site inspections to ensure installations meet design, specification and quality requirements.
- Participate in testing and commissioning of critical electrical systems.
- Work with consultants, contractors and specialist vendors to resolve technical issues and deliver project requirements.
- Contribute to design optimisation, value engineering and energy-efficiency initiatives.
- Develop technical standards, engineering specifications and O&M documentation.
- 8+ years of electrical engineering experience, with strong experience in data centres, mission-critical facilities or other high-reliability environments.
- Strong electrical design engineering background with experience across the project lifecycle.
- Solid knowledge of HV/MV/LV electrical distribution systems.
- Experience with UPS, generators, transformers, switchgear, busway/busduct and critical power systems.
- Strong understanding of electrical load calculations, equipment sizing, protection and power distribution.
- Experience reviewing consultant and contractor designs and technical submissions.
- Willingness to travel approximately 10–30% across APAC, particularly during project delivery phases.
