Most electrical engineers in this space sit a layer removed from the projects that excite them. This role puts you right at the centre of them.
You will join a high-growth developer building some of the most advanced compute infrastructure in APAC, the kind purpose-built for the AI era. Working client side and directly with senior leadership, you will own electrical design end to end: from utility-scale power and advanced cooling through to commissioning and operational performance. It is rare end-to-end exposure, real influence over technical direction, and a genuine chance to grow a function as the business scales.
What you'll do
- Lead electrical design and documentation from concept through commissioning and operational support
- Carry out complex calculations and power systems analysis for high-efficiency, modular designs
- Manage the qualification, onboarding and oversight of third-party consultants and contractors
- Review consultant designs and contractor drawings against world-class standards
- Run site inspections and commissioning to optimise plant performance for high-density workloads
- Develop new engineering standards and contribute to R&D on power distribution and energy management
- Mentor junior engineers and help build out the local electrical function over time
- Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 4+ years in electrical engineering, with strong data centre / mission critical experience
- Deep knowledge of power systems, electrical distribution and standards such as IEC and AS/NZS
- Confidence operating as an independent, hands-on primary engineer
- The ability to translate complex technical detail for non-technical and executive audiences
- Flexibility to travel 10 to 30 per cent during delivery phases
