Senior Design Manager, APAC
Location: Singapore or Malaysia
Salary: $170k - 215k + bonus

Own end-to-end design delivery for hyperscale data centre projects across APAC. Turn client requirements into clear, buildable designs that hit standards, cost, and schedule.
What you will do
- Lead multi-discipline design from concept to IFC and through construction support.
- Set the design plan, schedule, and budget. Keep partners accountable.
- Select and manage A/E consultants. Run RFQs, evaluate proposals, and onboard.
- Chair design reviews. Close comments fast. Track decisions and changes.
- Ensure designs comply with internal standards, local codes, and utility constraints.
- Drive value analysis and options with quantified pros and cons.
- Coordinate across CSA, MEP, controls, fire, security, and IT pathways.
- Interface with internal stakeholders in Product, Delivery, Construction, Operations, and Commercial.
- Prepare concise updates and present to senior leaders and clients.
- Capture lessons learned and feed improvements into program standards.
What you bring
- Proven delivery of large data centre designs in APAC.
- Confident running A/E teams and multidisciplinary(CSA/MEP/Fire/Controls/Security/IT)coordination.
- Strong working grasp of MEP and CSA interfaces, with practical constructability sense.
- Fluent in design governance, reviews, QA/QC, and change control.
- Calm, clear communicator who can influence decisions and remove blockers.
- Comfortable working across time zones with fast, accurate documentation.

Minimum qualifications
- Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
- 7+ years delivering complex building projects, with data centre or mission-critical experience.
- Consultant management and project leadership experience.
- BIM awareness. Revit familiarity is a plus.
- Regional experience and travel readiness.
Location and travel
Singapore or Malaysia. Regional travel as required.
