We are representing a global leader in Hyperscale Data Centres as they accelerate their multi-million dollar campus footprint in Johor. While many developers focus on generic industrial assets, our client is building the AI-ready, high-density infrastructure of the future in one of Asia’s fastest-growing digital hubs.
They are looking for a Project Manager to lead a significant Johor workstream.
You will move beyond subcontract management and take the lead on:
- End-to-End Delivery: Overseeing the construction of $500m+ hyperscale assets from shell/core to complex MEP fit-out.
- Technical Innovation: Implementing next-gen infrastructure, including liquid cooling and high-density power deployments.
- Commercial Leadership: Managing Tier 1 builder contracts, risk mitigation, and project milestones from the owner's perspective.
- Stakeholder Management: Acting as the primary point of contact for world-leading cloud providers (Hyperscalers).
Requirements
- Proven experience at a major builder (e.g., Tier 1 or leading regional contractors).
- Exposure to complex, MEP-heavy projects (Data Centres, Hospitals, or Lab facilities).
- Strong contract management skills; a background in Construction Law or Commerce is highly regarded.
- A "Hungry" Mindset: You are likely a Senior PE or PM who wants autonomy and wants to define the Johor digital infrastructure landscape.
- Location: Ability to be based in or commute to Johor (Sedenak/Nusajaya hubs).
- Move "client-side" with a global brand that has a multi-year pipeline in Malaysia.
