MCR are seeking an electrically or mechanically qualified engineer/tradesperson to work for one of Australia's leading builders of hyperscale data centres and AI factories
Overview
- You'll be joining a company developing a strong reputation in delivery of data centre construction and fit-out projects. They are looking to add to their team due to ongoing expansion and success.
- As the Services Engineer in the data centre team you'll be working onsite where you'll be part of a team who are responsible for the oversight and delivery of all service packages including mechanical, electrical, piping, fire, BMS, security, hydraulics and ICT.
- Working closely with all contractors to manage and deliver any design variations and ensure that both equipment is installed as per agreed specifications, on time and within budget
- Electrically or mechanically qualified by degree or trade
- A deep understanding of complex MEP systems in large, technically complex buildings
- Strong site based construction experience - this can be for another general contractor but also electrical or mechanical subcontractors
- Strong communication skills with the ability to guide and direct subcontractors and other stakeholders
