Mechanical Subject Matter Expert – APAC
Location: Singapore
Salary: circa $150,000 - $180,000 + bonus (negotiable)
This role exists to bring deep technical oversight to one of the most active data centre delivery programmes in Asia Pacific. You’ll act as the regional mechanical lead across multiple live and upcoming projects, advising on design, reviewing technical submissions, and making sure every system from cooling to containment, is engineered to perform.
You’ll work closely with internal teams, consultants, and contractors to ensure mechanical systems align with global standards, regional requirements, and hyperscale client expectations.
This is a key subject matter role where your input directly influences how data centres are designed, built, and handed over across the region.

Who they’re looking for
- Deep experience in mechanical design and engineering, ideally in data centres or critical infrastructure
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, cooling, containment, and system integration
- Able to review and challenge mechanical design proposals and lead technical discussions
- Clear communicator who can work across disciplines and advise internal and external stakeholders
- Comfortable across the full project lifecycle, from early design through to commissioning and handover
- Based in Singapore, with regional travel as required
