, known for delivering high-performance colocation facilities.
They are now seeking a mechanical subject matter expert to join the organisation at a pivotal stage of growth. With projects and facilities across Australia, Japan, Thailand and Malaysia, you'll join a specialist team who not only lead designs, but also who act as internal escalation points for all mechanical design matters across APAC
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the mechanical design scope for large-scale hyperscale data centre developments
- Set and manage design parameters, standards, and performance requirements
- Oversee and coordinate external consultants and seconded engineers
- Provide technical leadership across HVAC, cooling, and critical mechanical systems
- Ensure designs meet reliability, efficiency, and scalability objectives
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of data centre design experience
- A passionate technical SME in all things mechanical
- Any liquid cooling experience highly desirable
- Experience managing consultants and client-side engineering deliverables
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with technical clients
