This role focuses on working with large-scale data centre operators, cloud service providers, hyperscalers and technical partners.
You will be responsible for developing long-term partnerships, identifying new opportunities and coordinating internal resources to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop relationships with strategically important large customers.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned data centre customers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Develop a deep understanding of customer business objectives, aligning solutions to meet their critical operational needs.
- Strengthen existing accounts by identifying new opportunities and leading the end-to-end sales process.
- Collaborate with internal teams for support.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on account performance, market developments and strategic opportunities.
- Mechanical engineering degree is essential.
- Proven experience in account management or business development within data centres, cloud, colocation or critical infrastructure environments.
- Strong understanding of hyperscalers, cloud service providers and large-scale data centre operations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex, high-value customer relationships.
- Commercially driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across technical, service and leadership teams.
