The role will work closely with internal stakeholders, consultants, contractors, utility providers, and clients to develop robust, reliable, and scalable electrical solutions that support successful project delivery and meet operational and customer requirements.
What you'll do
- Review technical studies, assessments, and due diligence reports.
- Identify key risks, constraints, and development considerations related to electrical infrastructure.
- Coordinate electrical engineering activities across design, solutioning, construction, and commissioning.
- Manage technical issues, changes, and project risks.
- Ensure solutions meet operational, reliability, and business requirements.
- Provide technical advice to project teams during construction, testing, commissioning, and handover.
- Assist with troubleshooting and resolution of electrical and critical power infrastructure issues.
- Collaborate with internal teams, consultants, contractors, utility providers, and vendors.
- Monitor project progress and communicate technical risks and issues.
- Drive innovation, process improvements, standardisation, and capture lessons learned.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 5-10 years of experience in data centres, critical infrastructure, construction, power systems, or engineering environments.
- Experience supporting projects through design, construction, commissioning, and operations.
- Knowledge of critical electrical systems, including utility power, switchgear, transformers, UPS systems, generators, and power distribution systems.
- Strong technical coordination, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
