Singapore
$110-120k + bonus + overtime
The data center sector moves faster than almost any other industry, and the technical stakes are just as high. We are looking for a Commissioning Manager to take the lead on mission-critical equipment testing and facility handovers for some of the most complex builds in the Singapore market.
This isn't a role for someone who just wants to tick boxes on a checklist. We need a technical heavyweight who understands the nuances of mission-critical MEP and can drive a project through the full commissioning lifecycle. You’ll be the one ensuring that every system from the power generation to the cooling is resilient, reliable, and ready for day-one operations.
The Reality of the Role
You will own the commissioning framework for the project. Working alongside clients and general contractors, you are the gatekeeper of quality and safety. You’ll need to navigate technical submittals, lead onsite execution, and provide the kind of transparent reporting that gives stakeholders total confidence that the facility is built to perform.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Full Cx Lifecycle Ownership: Developing project-specific commissioning management and validation documents that align with the mission-critical objective.
- Onsite Leadership: Leading the team in the execution of commissioning activities and chairing project meetings with confidence.
- MEP Execution: Managing the QA/QC process for MEP equipment and executing test scripts to ensure everything functions per design specifications.
- Safety & Compliance: Producing task-specific method statements and JHAs to ensure a gold-standard safety culture on-site.
- Consultative Advice: Providing expert guidance on commissioning strategies and methodologies to streamline the path to handover.
- Proven Track Record: At least 3+ years of specific experience in Data Centre Commissioning.
- Academic Foundation: A Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering.
- Technical Depth: A strong knowledge of data center infrastructure, including power systems, HVAC, and MEP coordination.
- Standards Awareness: A general understanding of LEED or Green Star specifications and requirements.
- The "Can-Do" Mindset: The ability to work with minimal supervision, make decisive decisions under pressure, and motivate a team to reach a common goal.
